Decision No.991 on 25/08/2005 for the approval on the Police Officer’s Code of Ethics and Conduct, published in Official Gazette, First Part, no. 813 on 7/09/2005

Based on Art.108 of the Romanian Constitution, republished, the Romanian Government passes the following decision:.
Art. 1 - The Police officer’s Code of Ethics and Conduct, provided in the annex, which is part of the present document.
Art. 2 - In 30-day time from the entering into force of the present decision, by order of the Minister of Administration and Interior, there will be specified the structures with attributions in the application and evaluation of the Police officer’s Code of Ethics and Conduct, as well as with specific attributions in the area;
Art. 3 -Starting with the date when the present decision enters into force, the Government Decision No.438/ 2004 for the approval of the Police officer’s Code of Ethics and Conduct, published in the Official Gazette of Romania, First Part, nr.314 on 09/04/2004 will be abrogated.
