Information in the context of the visit of the American Vice President Kamala Harris to Bucharest
In the context of the events occasioned by the visit of the American Vice President Kamala Harris to Bucharest, on Friday, March 11th, a series of measures were ordered, accompanied by recommendations meant to support the citizens throughout this event.
The authorities involved must ensure that the security measures put in place interfere as little as possible with the day-to-day activities of the population.
Thus, traffic smoothing measures will be ordered for traffic participants and, in this context, the Bucharest Road Brigade requires drivers to follow the signals and directions of the police.
Drivers are advised, on Friday, March 11th, between 12:00 and 17:00, to avoid traveling on no. 1, National Road, in order to prevent the formation of possible traffic jams.
We appeal to the support of the citizens and we thank them for their understanding given regarding this event of special importance for Romania.
