Graduation ceremony of the 2023 April’s promotion of MAI schools

More than 2,800 students from the schools of agents and non-commissioned officers within the Ministry of Internal Affairs have completed the training courses in the chosen specialty, and they will enter the activity in the next period.

Thus, over 1,600 students graduated from the „Vasile Lascăr” Câmpina and „Septimiu Mureșan” Police Officers’ Schools in Cluj-Napoca, 240 trained as border policemen at the „Avram Iancu” Border Police Officers’ Training School ” – Oradea, almost 700 became gendarmes after graduating from the „Grigore Alexandru Ghica” – Drăgășani and „Petru Rareș” – Fălticeni Military Schools for Gendarmerie.

Also, at the „Pavel Zăgănescu” Military School of Non-Commissioned Firefighters and Civil Protection – Boldești, 295 future staff of the Inspectorates for Emergency Situations were trained, having the qualification of non-commissioned firemen and civil protection.

On this occasion, the Minister of Internal Affairs, Lucian Nicolae Bode, congratulated the recent graduates and urged them to carry out their work in good faith, in compliance with the law, guided by essential principles for the work of any employee of the institution: integrity, professionalism, patriotism.

„Be ambitious, be open to the new, be brave! Continue your training, develop, evolve, put your accumulated experience and knowledge at the service of the institution you belong to and at the service of Romania!”, Minister Bode told the new policemen, gendarmes, firefighters and border policemen.

In the following days, the graduates will present themselves at the MAI units where they were assigned according to their graduation average mark and their own option.
