Until today, on June 13th, in Romania, 21.679 cases of people infected with the COVID – 19 virus (coronavirus) have been confirmed. Of the people confirmed positive, 15.635 were declared cured and discharged.

Until today, 1,394 people diagnosed with COVID-19 infection have died.

Between 12.06.2020 (10:00) – 13.06.2020 (10:00) were registered 14 deaths (5 men and 9 women), of some patients infected with the new coronavirus, hospitalized in Bacău, Bistrița-Năsăud, Botoșani, Brașov, Constanța, Dâmbovița, București, Suceava și Vrancea.

Among these, 1 death was recorded in the age category 40-49 years, 3 death in the age category 50-59 years, 3 death in the age category 60-69 years, 3 deaths in the age group 70-79 years and 4 deaths in people over 80 years.

All deaths are from patients who have experienced comorbidities.

Since the last information sent by the Strategic Communication Group, another 275 new cases of illness have been registered.

At the moment, 171 patients are hospitalized at ATI.

On the Romanian territory, there are 2,024 people in institutionalized quarantine. Another 100,582 people are in solitary confinement at home and are under medical supervision.

Until today, 552,670 tests have been processed at the national level.

In the last 24 hours, 430 calls were registered to the unique emergency number 112 and 1,853 to the TELVERDE line (0800 800 358), open especially for informing citizens.

As a result of the violation of the provisions of Law no. 55 of 15.05.2020 regarding some measures for preventing and combating the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, the police and gendarmes applied, in the last 24 hours, 211 sanctions for minor offenses, amounting to 114,151 lei.

Also, through the competent structures of the Police, a crime was found yesterday for thwarting the fight against diseases, a deed provided and punished by art. 352 Penal Code.

At the same time, on June 12th a.c., 66 persons who did not comply with the measure of home isolation or quarantine were placed in institutionalized quarantine for 14 days or the measure of institutionalized quarantine.

Regarding the situation of Romanian citizens in other states, 3,393 Romanian citizens were confirmed as infected with COVID-19 (coronavirus): 1,885 in Italy, 561 in Spain, 107 in France, 681 in Germany, 97 in the United Kingdom , 28 in Netherlands, 2 in Namibia, 3 in USA, 4 in Austria, 3 in Belgium, 6 in Japan, 2 in Indonesia, 2 in Switzerland, 2 in Turkey and one each in Argentina, Tunisia, Ireland, Luxembourg, United Arab Emirates United, Malta, Brazil and Sweden. Since the beginning of the COVID-19 (coronavirus) epidemic and until now, 114 Romanian citizens abroad, 31 in Italy, 19 in France, 43 in Great Britain, 9 in Spain, 6 in Germany, 2 in Belgium, one in Sweden, one in Switzerland, one in the USA and one in Brazil, they died.

29 of the Romanian citizens confirmed with the new coronavirus, were declared cured: 9 in Germany, 10 in France, 6 in Japan, 2 in Indonesia, one in Luxembourg and one in Tunisia.

Note: these data are obtained by the Romanian diplomatic missions and consular offices abroad, either from the competent authorities of the states of residence, insofar as these data are subject to public communication, or directly from Romanian citizens abroad.

Until 12th of June 2020, 1.460.676 cases have been reported in the EU / EEA, the United Kingdom, Monaco, San Marino, Switzerland, Andorra. Most cases have been reported in the United Kingdom, Spain, Italy, France and Germany.
