Until today, on June 30th, in Romania, 26.970 cases of people infected with COVID – 19 virus (coronavirus) have been confirmed. Of the people confirmed positive, 20.141 were discharged.

At the same time, so far, 1.651 people diagnosed with COVID-19 died.

Between 29.06.2020 (10:00) – 30.06.2020 (10:00)  were registered 17 deaths (12 mens and 5 women), of some patients infected with the new coronavirus, hospitalized Argeș, Bistrița-Năsăud, Cluj, Harghita, București, Neamț, Prahova, Suceava, Teleorman și Vrancea.

Among these, 1 deaths were recorded in the age group 50-59, 4 death in the age category 60-69 years, 9 deaths in the age category 70-79 years and 3 deaths in a person over 80 years.

16 deaths are from patients who have experienced comorbidities.

Since the last information sent by the Strategic Communication Group, another 388 new cases of illness have been registered.

At the moment, 205 patients are hospitalized at ATI.

On the Romanian territory, there are 890 people in institutionalized quarantine. Another 61.840 people are in solitary confinement at home and are under medical supervision.

Until today, 710.112 tests have been processed at national level.

In the last 24 hours, 453 calls were registered to the unique emergency number 112.

As a result of the violation of the provisions of Law no. 55 of 15.05.2020 regarding some measures for preventing and combating the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, the police and gendarmes applied, in the last 24 hours, 388 sanctions for minor offenses, amounting to 293.000 lei.

Also, through the competent structures of the Police, yesterday was found 1 crime to thwart the fight against diseases, a deed provided and punished by art. 352 Penal Code.

At the same time, on June 29th a.c., 28 persons who did not comply with the measure of isolation at home or quarantine were placed in institutionalized quarantine for 14 days or the measure of institutionalized quarantine was ordered for a new period of 14 days.

Regarding the situation of Romanian citizens in other states, 4.795 Romanian citizens were confirmed to be infected with COVID-19: 1.885 Italy, 561 in Spain, 107 in France, 2.075  in Germany, 97 in the United Kingdom, 28 in the Netherlands, 2 in Namibia, 3 in the USA, 6 in Austria, 3 in Belgium, 6 in Japan, 2 in Indonesia, 2 in Switzerland, 2 in Turkey, 2 in Iceland, 2 in Belarus and one each in Argentina, Tunisia, Ireland, Luxembourg, the United Arab Emirates, Malta, Brazil, India, Bulgaria, Kazakhstan, Ukraine and Sweden. Since the beginning of the COVID-19 (coronavirus) epidemic and until now, 115 Romanian citizens abroad, 31 in Italy, 19 in France, 43 in Great Britain, 9 in Spain, 7 in Germany, 2 in Belgium, one in Sweden, one in Switzerland, one in the USA and one in Brazil, they died.

Among the Romanian citizens who are confirmed with the new coronavirus, 72 have been declared healed: 50 in Germany, 10 in France, 6 in Japan, 2 in Indonesia, 2 in Namibia, one in Luxembourg and one in Tunisia.

Note: these data are obtained by the Romanian diplomatic missions and consular offices abroad, either from the competent authorities of the states of residence, insofar as these data are subject to public communication, or directly from Romanian citizens abroad.

Until 29th of June 2020, 1 549 678 cases have been reported in the EU / EEA, the United Kingdom, Monaco, San Marino, Switzerland, Andorra. Most cases have been reported in Italy, France, Germany, Spain and the United Kingdom.
