Today, July 15th, this year, in the presence of the Minister of Internal Affairs, Lucian Nicolae BODE, the ceremony of decorating the Battle Flag and awarding the degree to the graduates of the „Alexandru Ioan Cuza” Police Academy took place.
The young graduates received the professional rank of police sub-inspector/sub-lieutenant, during a ceremony held in the presence of families and friends.
In his speech, the Minister of Internal Affairs addressed the youngest officers: „Today’s ceremony marks the culmination of training efforts during the years of study and the beginning of your career as employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. Starting today you are in the service of the law and the citizens. I am convinced that this option was based on your own principles and values, because you can assume, first of all, VOCATION! I urge you to continue to demonstrate integrity and professionalism.”
At the same time, the Minister of Internal Affairs thanked the parents of the graduates for the way they educated their children and for the fact that they encouraged them to pursue a career within the MAI.
During the same event, the dignitary decorated the Battle Flag of the „Alexandru Ioan Cuza” Police Academy, as a sign of gratitude for the dedication and professionalism of the teaching staff who contributed to the training of thousands of officers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
The event was also attended by representatives of the leadership of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the structures, the officers of the Police Academy, as well as a council of priests who officiated the religious service.

By order of the Minister of Internal Affairs, respectively by provisions of the structuring heads within the Ministry of Internal Affairs, issued according to the legal powers, dated July 15th, 2022, to graduates with a bachelor’s degree from the „Alexandru Ioan Cuza” Police Academy, 2022 promotion, form of full-time education, they are granted the professional rank of police sub-inspector, respectively the military rank of sub-lieutenant, as follows:
Faculty of Police:
– 248 graduates of the Public Safety Order specialization – police specialty;
– 71 graduates of the specialization Order and public safety – border police specialty;
– 69 graduates of the specialization Order and public safety – the janrmi specialty;
– 113 graduates of the Law specialization;
– 40 graduates from the penitentiary police specialization.
Fire Department:
– 50 graduates of the specialization Installations for constructions – firefighters.
Faculty of Archives:
– 11 graduates (last promotion).
By order of the Minister of Internal Affairs, respectively by provisions of the structuring heads within the Ministry of Internal Affairs, issued according to the legal powers, dated July 15, 2022, to graduates with a bachelor’s degree from the 2022 promotion of the „Alexandru Ioan Cuza” Police Academy – Faculty of Police, the University License Program specializing in Order and public safety studies, the part-time form of education, are granted a professional degree, respectively a military degree, depending on seniority in the structure of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, as follows:
– 37 from the Police specialty;
– 7 from the Border Police specialty;
– 7 from the Gendarme specialty.
Starting with the dates of July 18, the graduates will present the units of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, central and territorial, where they were assigned in the operation of the obtained activity, the needs of the structures and their own options.
